New Feature Announcement v42 — Sudzy Driver Facelift and more
We are proud to announce the availability of Sudzy POS version v42 for dry cleaners and laundromats. We are pleased to share our new software release with improvements to timeline and delivery reports, Sudzy Driver app improvements, and new setting options.
Follow these instructions to update your POS.
New and Enhanced Portal Reports
Deliveries Report This report allows you to see the manifest of deliveries so you can be on top of your current and future deliveries
Timeline filter Now in Portal -> Reports -> Timeline, you can filter by event type. If you aren’t seeing certain events, make sure to enable them in POS -> Security -> select type and turn on Enable Event Logging.
Driver App Updates
The Driver App got a new design that will help you to easily track orders. View deliveries at the “Waiting” tab, then accept to move to “In Progress” tab and once picked up or delivered mark as “Completed”. Also assign deliveries to a driver. Learn more in this tutorial
New Preferences
Force prepay: If you want 100% of orders to be prepaid before saving the order, you can go to POS -> Settings -> Preferences and turn on “require prepay on dropoff”.
Alteration only button: You can enable an “alteration only” button when adding an item. This will change the item price to $0 and just use the upcharge prices. For example, if you add a Dress ($1) and click the Alteration Only button, then add a hem ($2), the dress price will change to $0 and the subtotal will be $2, not $3. The item name will also say “Alteration Only”.
New Marketing Tools
Cap on Discount: You now have the ability to limit the dollar amount that can be applied to a discount. You set it when editing discounts under Pricing -> Discounts. For example, say you want to give a 50% discount but not give more than $100. So if a customer brings in a $1,000 order and applies a $50 discount, they will be given $100 off, not $500 off.
